Pinay Beauty Queen Academy Finals tonight

The newest reality TV show which talks about challenges on being a beauty queen started airing last October 4,2014 is set to crown its first ever grand winner tonight-- December 26,2014 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila in Pasay. 
The show was hosted by beauty queen singer Ali Forbes with Joy Viado. 20 candidates were mentored by accomplished beauty queens: Miss World 1973 1st runner-up, Evangeline Pascual, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 1982, Maria Isabel Lopez, Beauty queen blogger, Miss Young Philippines 1981 and Bb. Pilipinas 1985 Joyce Ann Burton-Titular, and Miss International 2005, Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz. 

The aspiring candidates were taught on personality development, make-up training, projection and most of all pasarela. The candidates went on different challenges that measure their determination and perseverance in coping with their dream to become a beauty queen. Beauty Queens break rules to compete in an International Pageant

Beauty queens from Vietnam will be fined for competing in an international beauty pageant without legal permission.

Cao Thuy Linh went to Thailand to compete in the Miss Grand International contest and Huynh Thuy Anh competed at a beauty contest international without legal permission from Vietnamese Department of Tourism, Sports & Culture.

Le Minh Tuan, an official at the Department of Performing Arts, said the department did not recognise the titles of illegal contestants. "The media and press still attach the contests with the names of those models and unintentionally encourage and promote them," he said.
Another official, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, said, "Many people said we must tighten regulations. But when building the regulations, we must take into consideration the human factor and give violators a chance to recognise their faults and change their behaviour."

Odessa Mae Tadaya wins Miss Heritage World

Odessa Mae Tadaya of Nueva Ecija who represented Philippines in the recently concluded Miss Heritage World pageant bring home the crown. Tadaya competed with 30+ women from around the world. She also bagged the Ludo Diversity / Sports Challenge award, top 2 for Heritage Gift (Miss Talent) and top 6 in country's heritage presentation. The pageant was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Australian Beauty Queens in a Hot Photo Shoot

Previous Australian beauty queens posed for a swimwear shoot.These ladies are Jesinta Campbell, Laura Dundovic and Rachell Finch who were all winners of the Miss Universe Australia pageant poses in a sexy black one piece swimsuit.

Dundovic competed in Miss Universe 2008 where she was one of the semi-finalists, Finch in 2009 who was awarded as 3rd runner-up and Campbell in 2010 who managed to be in the 5 finalists and bagged the 2nd runner-up placement and Miss Congeniality award. 
Now, these Australian beauties has gone to have settled in a modeling career.

The Hosts of Miss Universe 2014

The 63rd Miss Universe edition will be hosted by Natalie Morales and Thomas Roberts in January 25, 2015 to be held in Doral, Florida. 
Morales previously hosted Miss Universe pageant in 2010 with Bret Michaels and in 2011 with Andy Cohen while Roberts co-hosted Miss Universe 2013 with Mel B. He also hosted the Miss USA 2014 pageant in June.
Miss Universe 2014 pageant will be aired live from the FIU Arena in Florida for 3 hours. The contestants will be competing in Swimsuit, Evening gown and Interview. Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler will crown her successor.

3 out of 4 major international beauty pageants crowned their queens for 2014 already, Miss International had Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico, Jaime Herrel of Philippines for Miss Earth and recently Miss World crowned Rolene Strauss of South Africa. The last to crown their queen is Miss Universe and that would be in January 25, 2015 which will be held in Doral, Florida.

Rolene Strauss wins Miss World crown

The heart of Miss World which is beauty with a purpose where contestants present a charitable project they have been working on in their homeland. In this challenge, the judges gave equal first  place to Misses Brazil, Guyana, India, Indonesia and Kenya, unable to separate them.
In rounds held since the contestants arrived in London, Miss Finland topped the sporting competition; Miss United States was the multimedia winner; Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina won the top model round and Miss Sweden triumphantly bring home the beach fashion. Miss Malaysia won the talent competition in a live sing-off with Miss Scotland. 

Strauss was crowned by the outgoing Miss World, Megan Young of the Philippines, to huge cheers in the EXCEL exhibition center.

From the very start Rolene and Koyal have been a crowd favourite to win the top plum, and with so much passion to win the crown they set the competition on fire by always almost on top in every challenges.With so much pressure on, for Valerie to bring home a back to back crown she remains calm and poise and managed to be one of the top contenders despite being unplaced in some of the challenges.

Martinique Beauty Wins Miss Global International 2014

The 18 year-old, Martinique-born beauty queen Anne-Sophie Ribesois, bowled over the magistrates during the final night of Miss Global International Pageant at RIU, Montego Bay Jamaica and was crowned Miss Global International 2014 surpassing 17 other delegates at the 10th annual party of the said event last December 6,2014.

She also reaped, Best Figure and Most Aware candidate. Keasy Myrie of Panama bagged the 1st runner-up and Best in Costume, 2nd runner-up is Syndia Saint Jour from Haiti.
