Miss Earth Namibia: Paulina Malulu

In spite of the withdrawal of other Miss Earth 2014 contestants from the annual beauty contest this year due to the Ebola epidemic, Namibian representative, Paulina Malulu is still positive about the contest. 

Malulu is a Namibian beauty queen and model who represented her country in the Big 3 pageants. She was a semi-finalist at Miss International 2012, and in 2013 she competed in both Miss World and Miss Universe. This year she will compete for Miss Earth 2014.

Paulina, was selected since she was the title holder of Miss Namibia. She is participating the contest because she is passionate about issues that is affecting the earth, she said. 

"What makes the pageant more interesting for me is that, Namibia has never sent a delegate before, which mean I am the first and that they are in search for a women as a role model dedicated to uphold the advocacy to preserve and restore the earth. " Malulu added. 

If she wins, she would advocate the government and business to delve into renewable energy system, "It will encourage the people to become stewards of their own resources, thus making resources sustainable for the next generation."

Miss Earth 2014 pageant will be held at The University of the Philippines Theater in Diliman, Quezon City from November 9-29.

In second place is France's Aurore Kichenin. This lass presented herself stunningly in the competition. Winning the head to head challenge gave her an automatic place to be a semi-finalist.

Miss World 2017: Live Stream

Miss World 2017 grand finale will start in a few hours. The 67th edition of the Miss World pageant will be held at Sanya City Arena, China, and about 120 contestants are participating this year. The annual event will see Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle crown the new queen. Of the 118 contestants taking part in the event, the top 40 will be chosen following public voting, fast-track events and judges vote that kick-started early this month.
