Miss Minnesota, Teen Minnesota USA crowned

Finally, after her 3 attempts in joining Miss Minnesota USA Scheu had been crowned as Miss Minnesota USA 2015. She has been joining since 2008, where she was a semi-finalist at Miss Teen Minnesota 2008 and 2009, 2nd runner-up in 2011. In 2012 she tried her luck joining Miss Minnesota USA but fate wasn't on her side,she was then a semi-finalist and in 2014 she was Haley O'Brien's 1st runner-up.

The annual competition consists of three categories in which they are judged: Evening gown, swimwear, and an interview. Eligible young women must be between the ages of 14 and 26 and be unmarried residents of Minnesota in order to compete in the pageant.

Miss Teen Minnesota USA 2015 Top 5 finalists

Hayden Hammond emerged victorious, and Dasia Mestad was the first runner-up,
Brigitta Zosel , Sophia Primozich and Camila Payan were the 2nd,3rd and 4th runner-up respectively.

Both Scheu and Hammond will now advance and compete next year at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA national pageants.

A UP Professor eyes to be Miss World Philippines 2018

If it's a battle of wit and credentials, Jerelleen Rodriguez will easily snatch the main crown or any of the titles.

She will surely leave you at awe with what she has to offer. This lass from Nasugbu, Batangas is a Cum laude graduate with a degree in BS Business Administration and Accountancy from the UP Diliman and a Certified Public Accountant who placed sixth in the October 2013 CPA board licensure examination. She is also a Professor at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for the Department of Accounting and Finance while studying law at the UP College of Law.

Aside from all of these, she is also a member of the National Union of People’s Lawyers, a Chief Finance Officer, MGC Holdings, Inc., an angel investment hub and an education advocate.

Aren't these enough for her to win any of the crowns?

She only has not the gift of gab and wit but of beauty as well.

Igorota Queen's vying for the World

A 22 year-old Communication graduate from the University of Baguio hopes to be Miss World Philippines 2018.

Joemay Leo, an Igorota Queen from Tuba, Benguet made it to the official list of candidates of  this year's Miss World Philippines.

Leo doesn't have the drive in joining pageants when she was  younger not until she was chosen  to represent the high school department  for Miss University of Baguio 2011 which she later won. At 15, she had her first crown and the passion to join pageants was born where she reaped; Miss Tuba 2014, Miss Benguet 2014 first runner-up, Miss Baguio 2015 third runner-up and Miss Cordillera 2016.

She was an active student leader when she was still studying. In fact, she was awarded AY Foundation National Discipline awardee, JCI Youth Leadership Excellence awardee, Gerry Roxas Leadership awardee. Currently, she is serving as an SK Kagawad of her barangay.
