2014 Miss Universe, Preliminary Judges

Miss Universe 2014 Preliminary competition will be happening on Wednesday, 22 of January. So let's get to know who are the judges.

Corinne Nicolas is a native New Yorker and veteran of the modeling industry with over 20 years’ experience.

In 1999, she was one in a core group of model managers selected to join Trump Models, the brainstorm and vision of owner, Donald Trump. In 2006, Mr. Trump named Corinne, President of the agency. With its roster of top models, Trump Models has achieved status recognition with the top magazines, designers, photographers and clients from around the world and has prevailed in acquiring some of the most coveted cosmetic and fashion contracts in the industry as Victoria Secrets, Sports Illustrated, L’Oreal and Cover Girl.

Her pursuit of a career in the modeling industry came about by pure chance. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, Corinne had intended to follow a career in law, but quickly realized law was not the path for her. Fate intervened when a friend introduced her to John Casablancas, then owner of Elite Model Management, who seeing Corinne's avid passion for fashion and models, hired her as a junior agent for his New Faces Division. Within months, she was promoted to the Model Management division, and later, named her Director of his new agency, Elite Miami. However, his plans for Corinne did not cease there. In 1993, he bought her back to NY as VP and Director of the Elite Division, the high board of the agency representing such models as Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, and Claudia Schiffer.

In 2012, Corinne, always fascinated with the supermodel phenomenon, opened Trump Legends, a division dedicated exclusively to these iconic women of enduring beauty and style. Trump Legends represents such models as Carmen Dell'Orefice, Pat Cleveland, Tatjana Patitz, Jerri Hall, Daniela Pestova, Carol Alt and Maggie Rizer.

In her free time, Corinne loves exploring NYC's different neighborhoods discovering new antique markets and local restaurants. She also loves cooking, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
