Police Officer Neil Perez is Mister International 2014

The 9th edition of the Mister International pageant took off last night, February 14,2015 at the Inter-Burgo Hotel Ballroom in Ansan, South Korea.

From 44 expected entrants only 29 battle out for the title. Mister International 2013, Jose Anmer Paredes of Venezuela crowned his successor after the event.

A cop from the Philippines outdid other 28 delegates from around the world during last night's event. Durinng the question and answer segment, Niel Perez was asked about his biggest disappointments in life where he answered in his native language and was translated by an interpreter. 

I think… not giving and showing love to my parents. Now what I’m doing is… I’m trying to show how much I love my parents and that’s one of we can find in the bible as given by God. He answered.

Completing the set of winners are Lebanon 1st runner-up, Czech Republic 2nd runner-up, Poland 3rd runner-up and Slovenia 4th runner-up.
The 29-year-old Mister International winner is a police officer in the Philippines. He is a member of Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group and he is assigned at the Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

If it's a battle of wit and credentials, Jerelleen Rodriguez will easily snatch the main crown or any of the titles.

She will surely leave you at awe with what she has to offer. This lass from Nasugbu, Batangas is a Cum laude graduate with a degree in BS Business Administration and Accountancy from the UP Diliman and a Certified Public Accountant who placed sixth in the October 2013 CPA board licensure examination. She is also a Professor at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for the Department of Accounting and Finance while studying law at the UP College of Law.

Aside from all of these, she is also a member of the National Union of People’s Lawyers, a Chief Finance Officer, MGC Holdings, Inc., an angel investment hub and an education advocate.

Miss Venezuela Pageant Suspended Amid Prostitution and Corruption Scandal

The organization behind Miss Venezuela’s iconic beauty pageant is under investigation for possible misconduct of its contestants following claims of prostitution and corruption throughout the organization.
Former Miss Venezuela contestants, posted on social media insinuating other contestants had romantic relationships with corrupt businessmen and officials.
"Given the events recently described on social media ... a decision has been made to begin an internal review to determine if anyone linked (to the pageant), during the course of their involvement, violated the values and ethics of the contest," the Miss Venezuela Organization said in a statement.
Miss Venezuela is owned by the wealthy Venezuelan Cisneros family. Cisneros Group also owns Venezuela’s top-rated television channel Venevision the biggest Spanish-language channel in the U.S. Among future measures, the organization will create a new "Beauty Committee" and carry out a full pageant reorganization, the …
