Mister United Continents Philippines Personality Development Seminar

A successful Personality Development Seminar for the candidates of Mister United Continents Philippines 2015 was held last Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the South of Market event hall.

The said event was graced by the head of Mister United Continents Org., Miss Mylene Miranda, Head Stylist Shandy Montecarlo-Lim, Mister United Continents Philippines National Director Mr. Jonas Yu, David Natanawan, Publicity and Promotion Head and the keynote speaker was Mister Global Philippines 2014 and Mister Global semi-finalist Joseph Doruelo.

Joseph talked about his experience and journey in both his national and international stint. He gave tips and ideas on how to win, provide details and information on how a contestant would stand-out in a competition.

The Pageant aims to promote "Service to Humanity is the best work for life", they also envision a Zero Street Children in the Philippines in 2030 for every city who will participate the program.

What to expect with this pageant? Well, aside from having advocacy-driven men they will also present the dances of the Philippines where the candidates would present most probably the folk dances in the Philippines.Indeed, a one of a kind and a must watch.

If it's a battle of wit and credentials, Jerelleen Rodriguez will easily snatch the main crown or any of the titles.

She will surely leave you at awe with what she has to offer. This lass from Nasugbu, Batangas is a Cum laude graduate with a degree in BS Business Administration and Accountancy from the UP Diliman and a Certified Public Accountant who placed sixth in the October 2013 CPA board licensure examination. She is also a Professor at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for the Department of Accounting and Finance while studying law at the UP College of Law.

Aside from all of these, she is also a member of the National Union of People’s Lawyers, a Chief Finance Officer, MGC Holdings, Inc., an angel investment hub and an education advocate.

Aren't these enough for her to win any of the crowns?

Igorota Queen's vying for the World

A 22 year-old Communication graduate from the University of Baguio hopes to be Miss World Philippines 2018.

Joemay Leo, an Igorota Queen from Tuba, Benguet made it to the official list of candidates of  this year's Miss World Philippines.

Leo doesn't have the drive in joining pageants when she was  younger not until she was chosen  to represent the high school department  for Miss University of Baguio 2011 which she later won. At 15, she had her first crown and the passion to join pageants was born where she reaped; Miss Tuba 2014, Miss Benguet 2014 first runner-up, Miss Baguio 2015 third runner-up and Miss Cordillera 2016.

She was an active student leader when she was still studying. In fact, she was awarded AY Foundation National Discipline awardee, JCI Youth Leadership Excellence awardee, Gerry Roxas Leadership awardee. Currently, she is serving as an SK Kagawad of her barangay.
