Miss Global Philippines 2015 Press Presentation

Earlier today 22 lovely ladies of Miss Global Philippines showcased their beauty and elegance when they were presented to the press.

Miss Global Philippines, the country's newest internationally - affiliated beauty pageant, is proud to announce its 2nd year in search of candidates who will represent the country to show the world the unique Filipina beauty, intellect and grace. The Miss Global international competition has ushered in a new era by introducing a whole new level of openness never-before-seen in beauty pageants on a global scale.

In terms of advocacies, Miss Global Philippines has made a tremendous impact with the community by actively partnering with different charitable institutions ( feeding program, medical missions etc. ) and environmental projects of DENR.

The finals will be held on September 5, 2015 at City of Dreams Manila which will be aired at Abs-Cbn channel 2 and the winner will represent the country to Miss Global 2015 pageants.

Mister Worldwide Competition moved to December 2015

The Mister Worldwide competition 2015 finals in Orlando, Florida which was scheduled on August 27 to September 7, was moved to December 3-13, 2015.

"Many countries fail to request the US VISA on time and many were denied." the organization said.

Ricardo De Jesus is the new Mister Universal Ambassador Phillipines 2015

Manila, Philippines -- Today, we received a message from the Mister United Continents Philippines Organization about the vacancy left by the dethroned Mister Universal Ambassador Philippines Cris Edwin Navarro. The MUCP Org. said that the title will be given to Ricardo De Jesus who won the Mister Global International Philippines title last April 14,2015.

De Jesus will be now Philippines' bet to Mister Universal Ambassador pageant which is going to happen in Indonesia in September. As of now, the org hasn't decided yet on who will gain the Mister Global International Philippines title but one thing is for sure, Philippines new representative to the said pageant will be coming from the runners-up and/or regional winners.

Mister Universal Ambassador Philippines 2015 Cris Edwin Navarro loses his Title

Mister United Continents Philipines Org. & Blue Circle Events and Management stripped Cris Edwin Navarro of his Mister Universal Ambassador Philippines title.

Last April 14, 2015 Navarro was adjudged as the country's bet to Mister Universal Ambassador pageant to be held in Indonesia sometime in September but today, July 14, 2015 the Mister United Continents Org. & Blue Circle Events and Management decided with a heavy heart to let go Cris Edwin Navarro after the organization found him unworthy of his title.


 The Mister United Continents Philippines organization regrets to inform the public that Mr. Cris Edwin Navarro had abdicated his title as the reigning Mr. Universal Ambassador Philippines 2015 by displaying such character unworthy of the title.

Mr. Navarro has consistently ignored his commitments to the Organization which is a serious and blatant disregard of his role as the Mr. Universal Ambassador Philippines …

Nicaragua to drop Miss Universe 2015 Pageant

Karen Celebertti, National Director of Miss Nicaragua Organization announced via twitter that if Miss Universe Organization won't support the reigning Miss Universe Paulina Vega they will not send a delegate to Miss Universe 2015 pageant.
Celebertti said, that Miss Universe Organization should recognize all humans in an equal manner. In 1979 and 1996 Nicaragua did not compete at the said pageant. And in 2013, Natassja Bolivar was dethroned after competing at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant in Moscow, Russia where Gabriela Isler of Venezuela won.

Donald Trump slams Paulina Vega as Hypocrite

Miss Universe 2015, Paulina Vega speaks out regarding Donald Trump's remarks on illegal immigrants via an Instagram post.

But earlier today, Trump took to twittet and hits back Vega by calling her "Hypocrite" because Vega said that she won't resign and will keep her crown.

Reelz Channel will Air Miss USA 2015 pageant that was dropped by NBC

After being dropped by Univision and NBC, Miss USA 2015 pageant found its new home.

Last Thursday, Stan E. Hubbard, Reelz CEO said the cable and satellite channel acquired the rights because of a belief that the pageant and the women who compete in it "are an integral part of American tradition."

"As one of only few independent networks, we decided to exercise our own voice and committed ourselves to bringing this pageant to American viewers everywhere." Hubbard added.

Statement did not include on how Reelz acquired the rights to televise the pageant.

Miss USA 2015 will be aired on Reelz, July 12, 2015 the original NBC airdate.

Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama won't join Miss Universe 2015 pageant

After Univision, NBCUniversal and Farouk System canceled their participation in Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama will not send their representatives in this year's Miss Universe pageant.

The Mexican media company Televisa said it would not send a delegate to this year's Miss Universe pageant after Trump's remarks about Mexican illegal immigrants. Mexico is the very first to pull out their contestant in joining the pageant.

Also, Costa Rica decided not to join Miss Universe 2015. Teletica, the organizer of Miss Costa Rica pageant, said that Trump's remarks were "xenophobic and offensive."

Panama joined other Latin American countries to not join this year's Miss Universe pageant. TV channel Telemetro said that they will not transmit this year's contest. This was confirmed after the meeting with the TV Channel's officials with Marisela Moreno, Miss Universe Panama President.
