Bb. Pilipinas 2016: Week 4 Power Rankings

It's the Bb. Pilipinas 2016, 40 equally gorgeous and accomplished young Filipina women are vying for the five equal crowns, with the ultimate title of Bb. Pilipinas Universe being considered by most pageant pundits as the top plum. Other titles are, Bb. Pilipinas-International, Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental, Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational and Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism. So, here are the week four power rankings of The Pageant Queens.

TPQ's Week 4 Rankings


Angelique Celine De Leon leads the pack of our fourth official hot picks. She is one of the most-talked about girls all over social media sites. Aside from that, she has a natural charm that captured the hearts of many. Indeed, Angee is a diamond in the rough. Following next to her is Maxine Medina. She may not be in your list but Maxine will surely surprise you.

Coming in third, fourth and fifth place are, Kylie Verzosa, Jessica Gonzales and Nichole Manalo. No doubt Kylie has a very pretty face and that makes easily stand out. She came in prepared and learned the lesson from her experience last year.

Jessica Gonzales, a Binibini first-timer impressed everyone with her towering height. It isn't hard for her to stand-out given that 6'0 height and she is banking on that to clinch one of the crowns. Meanwhile, Nichole Manalo surprised everyone with her huge improvement. Armed with training she got from the past years, she's now unstoppable to get a crown and we can't deny it.

Making it in the top 15 are; Nicole Cordoves, Maria Gigante, Edjelyn Gamboa, Cindy Del Castillo, Jeslyn Santos, Vina Openiano, April Smith, Joanna Eden, Paul Rich Bartolome and Dindi Pajares.

Could these ladies hang on till the end of the competition and win a crown?

If it's a battle of wit and credentials, Jerelleen Rodriguez will easily snatch the main crown or any of the titles.

She will surely leave you at awe with what she has to offer. This lass from Nasugbu, Batangas is a Cum laude graduate with a degree in BS Business Administration and Accountancy from the UP Diliman and a Certified Public Accountant who placed sixth in the October 2013 CPA board licensure examination. She is also a Professor at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for the Department of Accounting and Finance while studying law at the UP College of Law.



Aside from all of these, she is also a member of the National Union of People’s Lawyers, a Chief Finance Officer, MGC Holdings, Inc., an angel investment hub and an education advocate.


Aren't these enough for her to win any of the crowns?

She only has not the gift of gab and wit but of beauty as well.

Igorota Queen's vying for the World

A 22 year-old Communication graduate from the University of Baguio hopes to be Miss World Philippines 2018.


Joemay Leo, an Igorota Queen from Tuba, Benguet made it to the official list of candidates of  this year's Miss World Philippines.

Leo doesn't have the drive in joining pageants when she was  younger not until she was chosen  to represent the high school department  for Miss University of Baguio 2011 which she later won. At 15, she had her first crown and the passion to join pageants was born where she reaped; Miss Tuba 2014, Miss Benguet 2014 first runner-up, Miss Baguio 2015 third runner-up and Miss Cordillera 2016.


She was an active student leader when she was still studying. In fact, she was awarded AY Foundation National Discipline awardee, JCI Youth Leadership Excellence awardee, Gerry Roxas Leadership awardee. Currently, she is serving as an SK Kagawad of her barangay.
