Nichole Manalo and Kylie Verzosa had always been the second best in our previous hotpicks but as the coronation night getting near they step up their game. Both Nichole and Kylie started so strong but that doesn't guarantee them a crown. But after the press presentation, Jag fashion show and national costume competition they set the bar really high with their international caliber and memorable performances. It seems that the battle for the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown is between them. That's why they lead our week 6 power rankings.

Coming next is Maxine Medina, she was stunning and lovely. Seriously this lass is silently killing them all. Another performer, amazing and one of the most-talked candidate is Angelique Celine De Leon who is in our top 3. Placing fourth is the effortlessly gorgeous Nicole Cordoves. She never stops giving her fans and all the pageant pundits an impressive performance. And completing our top 5 is April Smith who always set the stage on fire every time she set foot on it. A catwalk diva indeed!

If it's a battle of wit and credentials, Jerelleen Rodriguez will easily snatch the main crown or any of the titles.

She will surely leave you at awe with what she has to offer. This lass from Nasugbu, Batangas is a Cum laude graduate with a degree in BS Business Administration and Accountancy from the UP Diliman and a Certified Public Accountant who placed sixth in the October 2013 CPA board licensure examination. She is also a Professor at the University of the Philippines - Diliman for the Department of Accounting and Finance while studying law at the UP College of Law.



Aside from all of these, she is also a member of the National Union of People’s Lawyers, a Chief Finance Officer, MGC Holdings, Inc., an angel investment hub and an education advocate.


Aren't these enough for her to win any of the crowns?

She only has not the gift of gab and wit but of beauty as well.

Igorota Queen's vying for the World

A 22 year-old Communication graduate from the University of Baguio hopes to be Miss World Philippines 2018.


Joemay Leo, an Igorota Queen from Tuba, Benguet made it to the official list of candidates of  this year's Miss World Philippines.

Leo doesn't have the drive in joining pageants when she was  younger not until she was chosen  to represent the high school department  for Miss University of Baguio 2011 which she later won. At 15, she had her first crown and the passion to join pageants was born where she reaped; Miss Tuba 2014, Miss Benguet 2014 first runner-up, Miss Baguio 2015 third runner-up and Miss Cordillera 2016.


She was an active student leader when she was still studying. In fact, she was awarded AY Foundation National Discipline awardee, JCI Youth Leadership Excellence awardee, Gerry Roxas Leadership awardee. Currently, she is serving as an SK Kagawad of her barangay.
