Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines Pageant 2016 Press Presentation



The 30 official candidates of Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines slay the runway and introduce themselves to the public at the press presentation held at Diamond Hotel Manila on May 15, 2016.

The candidates also shared their healthy lifestyle advocacy to the press after they danced to the Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines theme song which was followed by showing-off their figure in creative posing and their elegance in evening gown competition.

The aspirants’ figures are scrutinized using scientific measures such as body fat percentage, and the proportions of the body parts are carefully inspected. Beauty of face, as a criterion, also incorporates an inspection of the condition of the ladies’ skin.

The 30 finalists are Casey Austria, Zyralyn Gabuya, Clarise Perez, Apple Ferrer, Michko Magno, Venus Johnson, Regine Anilo, Crystal Saringo, Joanna Alajar, Trixie Ong, Marie Cajayon, Solaire Ralos, Grace Castillo, Geri Camargo, Angelica Nilo, Gregeli Pahilga, Hayah Hamoc, Japril Makilig, Elle Hollman, Diana Dela Peña, Cyrill Ybanyez, Rjfajda Babudin, Jankka Nicolas, Christine Opiaza, Ivy Tapic, Karina Dizon, Maribel Aga, Menachen de Asis, Antonette de Peralta and Dawn Dogma.



Aside from the right to represent the country in an international competition, the winner will also receive over P300,000 worth of cash and prizes. The 2016 Miss Bikini Philippines coronation night will take place at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City on May 20.

Miss Venezuela Pageant Suspended Amid Prostitution and Corruption Scandal

The organization behind Miss Venezuela’s iconic beauty pageant is under investigation for possible misconduct of its contestants following claims of prostitution and corruption throughout the organization.
Former Miss Venezuela contestants, posted on social media insinuating other contestants had romantic relationships with corrupt businessmen and officials.
"Given the events recently described on social media ... a decision has been made to begin an internal review to determine if anyone linked (to the pageant), during the course of their involvement, violated the values and ethics of the contest," the Miss Venezuela Organization said in a statement.
