This year marks the 56th edition of the Miss International pageant, it wil be hed in Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on October 27, 2016. Last year, Venezuela's Edymar Martinez brought home the crown.

It's another milestone for the Miss International pageant! Few days from now, the delegates will arrive in Tokyo, and will compete for the prestigious Miss International crown. Before the conclusion of the pageant, here's our pre-arrival power rankings.

Topping our list is Felicia Hwang of Indonesia. She is making noise and wanting to put her country in the pageant map. She prepared a lot  for this, she was trained by a Philippine pageant camp who produced 2 Miss International winners for the Philippines. A lot is expected of her.

Venezuela's Jessica Duarte is aiming for a back-to-back crown for her country and she's not stopping in doing so.

In third place is, Gabriela Berios of Puerto Rico, a pageant veteran. She won a modelling competition in her country, "La Musa de Carlos Alberto" and then went on to represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Supranational 2012 pageant where she placed 2nd runner-up and Miss Universe 2014 pageant where she was awarded Miss Photogenic.

Completing our top 5 are, Daniela Herrera of Colombia  and Philippines' Kylie Verzosa.

Miss Venezuela Pageant Suspended Amid Prostitution and Corruption Scandal

The organization behind Miss Venezuela’s iconic beauty pageant is under investigation for possible misconduct of its contestants following claims of prostitution and corruption throughout the organization.
Former Miss Venezuela contestants, posted on social media insinuating other contestants had romantic relationships with corrupt businessmen and officials.
"Given the events recently described on social media ... a decision has been made to begin an internal review to determine if anyone linked (to the pageant), during the course of their involvement, violated the values and ethics of the contest," the Miss Venezuela Organization said in a statement.
Miss Venezuela is owned by the wealthy Venezuelan Cisneros family.
