New set of winners to represent Mr. and Miss Philippine Islands

Shannon Kerver from Cabiao, Nueva Ecija and Wilson Yalung of Silang, Cavite were adjudged as Mr. and Miss Philippine Islands 2018 during the second edition of the Miss Philippine Islands 2018.


Princess Pusing of Masbate City and Aaron Esmenda of Camarines Norte were named as Mr. and Miss Philippine Islands - Luzon, respectively.

Nellay Pasahol of Batangas and AJ Rumbaua of Nueva Vizcaya are the Mr. and Miss Philippine Islands - Visayas.

Katherine Costan of Bacolod is Miss Philippine Islands - Mindanao  while Jemm Verano of Indang Cavite is Mr. Philippine Islands - Mindanao

To complete the set of winners, Miss Teen Philippine Islands is Jenevic Cariño of San Mateo, Rizal while Christian Jay Maniego of Makati City is Mr.Teen Philippine Islands

Miss Progress International - Women for Progress is on its sixth edition.

TARANTO - For the sixth edition, Miss Progress International-Women for Progress is back in Puglia. The event, that aims to highlight commitment to health, environment, human rights and integration cultural of the participants, enhances the role of women in the social sphere and offers them a completely new role in the entertainment industry.

Miss Universe 1995 dies at 45

Miss Universe 1995, Chelsi Smith passed away at 45 due to cancer.

Smith became the first African-American to win the Miss Texas, USA crown. She was also, Miss Gavelston 1994.


She represented the state of Texas at the Miss USA1995 pageany won the crown. The same year, she was also crowned Miss Universe.
