Stepping on top and proving her worth to the crown is USA's Sarah Rose Summer. She's on eight spot on our pre-arrival picks. Sarah is surely playing her a-game well in Thailand. We wouldn't be surprised should she win the crown. Though, she doesn't need to look like Pia Wurtzbach a lot 'coz it will not help her.

Falling behind is the first transgender woman to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. Angela Ponce of Spain will surely  be a real threat as she could also make another history if she wins the crown. Publicity would help a lot for the organization if she'll be crowned Miss Universe 2018.

Also going down from second place to third spot this time is Kiara Ortega of Puerto Rico. This lass hasn't shown her all yet as she might be preparing for something big - the preliminary swimsuit and evening gown competition. Kiara has a pretty and irresistible face  that will easily put her on top.

In fourth place and making her way on top is Mexico's Andrea Toscano. She was on sixth place before, but she she stepped up this time. She is studying at the University of Colima majoring in Nutrition and a diplomat in neurolingüistic programming. She works to make her project bigger, and is called "Nourish a child, feed Mexico", that promotes nutritional education through a playful method with a National scope. With the same purpose, she is developing an app to help  children to carry out a healthy lifestyle. She wants to be Miss Universe and make a real change in global health and nutrition. Don't you think it's time for Mexico to win its third Miss Universe crown?

Completing our wonder circle of five is Catriona Gray from the Philippines. Although, fans are going gaga about her beauty, style, elegance, sophistication and wit, she still has a lot to carry to maintain her front-runner status. The pressure on her plays a vital role in winning the crown thus, she needs to conquer it and win the Philippines fourth Miss Universe crown.
